mizzou Mayhem at Mizzou Or Students Being Students?

Missouri 36, Oklahoma 27. Mizzou Wins!  Fans Get Busted! In one of the great college after-game traditions, the winning team’s fans swarm the field to celebrate with the team and tear down a goal post or two.   It has been going on for as long as students have been going to football games.  It happened last Saturday night at Faurot Field when a sea of black and gold shirted students stormed the field after the big win.

Thousands and thousands to be exact and sure enough the goal post came down and was carted off by a bunch of students.  Only problem was 30 of those students got busted for going on the field after the game – a crime in most stadiums around the country.  Should they have been arrested?

Open for debate, depending on who you talk to.  Our question is more basic:  how do you pick the 30 to arrest out of this herd?   Take a look a fan’s video of the scene and be sure to listen to the stadium announcer in the background.  He goes on like nothing is happening.  Mizzou Rah!!!

Exactly — it’s a “tradition” — unless you’ve actually been there when a game this exciting happens, you can’t begin to understand. Let ’em enjoy the victory – there’s too much in life that isn’t fun.
