Every GRAMMY Party needs punny-snacks. You know, like Bruno Mars Bars, Arcade Fire Roasted Salsa, etc (See what we did there?). Your friends will think you are hilarious and an amazing cook. We have all the best “Punny GRAMMY Snacks” and recipes!

Bruno Mars Bars
3 Mars bars
1/3 cup butter
3 cups Rice Krispies
2 cups chocolate chips
Prep Time: 5 mins

Total Time: 20 mins

1 In large saucepan, cut up Mars bars and melt with butter.
2 Stir in Rice Krispies and press mixture into a buttered 8 inch square pan.
3 Melt chocolate chips and spread over Rice Krispies mixture.
4 After chocolate sets, cut into squares.


Eminem Cookies
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 3/4 cups M&M’s

Total Time: 19 mins

1 Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
2 Blend in eggs and vanilla.
3 Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well.
4 Stir in M&M’s.
5 Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet.
6 Bake at 350°F for 9 minutes or until just starting to get golden brown.


Cee Lo Green Beans
1 lb green beans
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 medium onion, finely sliced
salt and pepper
1 1/4 cups chicken stock
1 tablespoon minced gar
Arcade Fire Roasted Salsa and Chips

Total Time: 32 min

1 Place the beans in a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 6-8 minutes until firm but not raw, drain well
2 Melt the butter in a pan, add the olive oil and heat, adding the onion and cooking for 3-4 minutes.
3 Add the beans, salt and pepper to taste and toss.
4 Add the chicken stock and garlic.
5 Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until tender.
6 Season well if desired and serve.


Arcade Fire Roasted Salsa and Chips
8 roma tomatoes
3 poblano peppers
3 green chilies
3 jalapenos
1 1/2 onions
3 garlic cloves
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons lemon juice

Total Time: 20 min


1 roast all ingredients except garlic and cilantro on the grill till cooked through and slightly blackened.
2 chop onions and cilantro in food processor; set aside.
3 when all the ingredients on the grill are thoroughly cooked, chop in food processor.
4 combine all ingredients together.
5 serve hot or cold.


Teenage Dreamsicles

1 -2 teaspoon Tang orange crystals
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk

Total Time: 5 min

1 Mix all and adjust to suit your taste.
2 Pour into molds and freeze.


Beiber Butter and Pearl Jam
1 sandwich wrap
2 -4 fresh strawberries
1 banana
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
granola cereal (optional)

Total Time: 5 min

1 Lay out the wrap and all the ingredients.
2 Spread the peanut butter as the first layer on the wrap, the thickness depending on your preference. Leave about a centimeter or two around the outside edges not covered.
3 Next spread the jelly on top, leaving spaces to place the strawberries.
4 Clean and slice the strawberries and place them in the gaps of jelly.
5 Sprinkle the granola over the PB&J layers on the wrap.
6 Peel the banana and place it whole near one edge of the wrap.
7 Roll the wrap up tightly around the banana and enjoy!


Chocolate Drake
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Michale Buble Champagne Cocktail (some kind of cocktail made with champagne)
Half of my Heart Cookies (sugar cookies cut in half hearts)

Total Time: 21 min

1 Sift together flour, cocoa, and baking soda. Set aside.
2 Cream butter and sugar with an electric hand mixer. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
3 To the bowl of wet ingredients, add about 1/3 of the dry sifted ingredients and the chocolate chips at a time, making sure they are well incorporated as you go along.
4 Drop dough, a tablespoon at a time, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Leave about 2 inches of room between each cookie.
5 Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 8-11 minutes, or until cookie is set. Cool for one minute on the cookie sheet before transferring cookies to a baking rack to finish cooling. Make sure cookies are thoroughly cool before you put them on a plate or in a cookie jar.


Maroon 5-layer dip
1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheese, , your choice
2 cups salsa, your choice
1 can sliced black olives

Total Time: 30 min

1 Pre heat the oven at 400 degrees.
2 Take a 9 inch pie plate and spread the cream cheese on the bottom.
3 Next spread the refied beans on top of the cream cheese.
4 Spread the salsa on top of the refried beans.
5 Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the salsa.
6 Finally sprinkle the black olives on top of the shredded cheese.
7 Bake in the pre heated oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.


Michael Bublé Champagne Cocktail
6 sugar cubes
6 tablespoons cherry juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
champagne or sparkling wine

Total Time: 2 min

Place 1 sugar cube, 1 tablespoon cherry juice and 1 teaspoon lemon juice in each of 6 champagne flutes. Fill with champagne.


Half of my Heart Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening

Total Time: 25 min


1 Combine butter, sugar, cream cheese, egg and vanilla in large bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, beat until well mixed. Wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
2 Preheat oven to 375°. Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut dough with lightly floured 2 inch heart shaped cookie cutter. Place cutouts 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
3 Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned. Remove immediately to wire racks to cool completely.
4 Melt chocolate chips and shortening in small saucepan over low heat, or double boiler until melted. Dip half of each heart into melted chocolate. Refrigerate on cookie sheets or trays lined with waxed paper until chocolate is firm. Store, covered in refrigerator with wax paper in between.
5 Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.


1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup crushed graham cracker
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 (1 5/8 ounce) chocolate bars
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme

Total Time: 1 hour

1Grease an 8-inch-square baking pan.
2 Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
3 In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
4 Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
5 Add the crushed graham crackers, flour, salt, and baking powder and beat until well mixed, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides of the bowl.
6 Spoon half the dough into the pan and spread evenly with your fingertips. Break the chocolate into pieces and arrange over the dough.
7 Spread a layer of marshmallow creme over the chocolate.
8 Flatten the remaining dough into pancakes and lay them over the marshmallow.
9 Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Let the bars cool before serving.


The Black Teas
1 teaspoon black tea
1/2 teaspoon jasmine flower
1/2 teaspoon lavender flowers
1/2 teaspoon chamomile flowers

Total Time: 15 min

1 Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don’t own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later.
2 Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes.


Ludacrispy shrimp with Kanye Pepper dip
1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
3/4 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup flour
3/4 tablespoon creole seasoning
1 teaspoon salt

Total Time: 40 min

1 Place shrimp in buttermilk and place in refrigerator 3 or 4 hours. This isn’t necessary but they are better.
2 Mix corn meal, flour, creole seasoning (I use Emeril’s-the recipe is in Zaar) and salt in a gallon zip lock bag. Shake to mix well.
3 Coat shrimp, 6 to 8 at a time in mixture and shake off the excess.
4 Fry in hot oil, canola or peanut oil (my favorite) until golden brown. This should only take one to two minutes.
5 Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Carrie Underwood-fired kabobs
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
3 tablespoons apricot preserves
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Total Time: 25 min

1 Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
2 Combine garlic, preserves& mustard.
3 Add chicken& marinate for at least 1 hour.
4 Thread onto skewers and grill until chicken is no longer pink in the middle.
5 I usually make another double batch of the marinade& use part as a baste on the chicken while grilling.
6 Serve the remaining marinade on the side as a dip for the grilled chicken.
7 I serve this with Almond pilaf.
