Any parent who’s ever dropped off their kid at pre/grade-school after a long weekend knows the morning drop-off can set the tone for how everyone’s week is going to go. It can be a wonderful moment between parent and child—that is if the child is in a good mood on a Monday morning; something that has proven to be pretty rare for my wife and I–or it can be a stress filled ordeal that leaves you wondering why you just didn’t stay in bed that morning.
Running late this morning as usual, I had the bright idea of taking a “shortcut” to the school—bad idea. After going the wrong way on a one way street it dawned on me that I was “DOING IT WRONG!”
It reminded me of this scene from “Mr. Mom” featuring the great Michael Keaton.
