Bill Murray And Emma Stone Surprise Troops For The Holidays

Actors are, by nature, an interesting group.  That’s probably why many of them became actors in the first place.

It almost seems like many Hollywood TV and film actors adhere to the “any press is good press” philosophy.   It’s no coincidence that many a stalled career in Hollywood has been rebooted by a strategically timed trip to rehab or affair with a co-star.

Lindesy Lohan is the poster child for this group.  She’s actually branding herself this way if you think about it.

There is an entire industry dedicated to pointing out and reveling in all of this “scoop.’

That’s why it’s so refreshing when you see some actual, heartfelt goodwill being practiced.

Bill Murray and Emma Stone  surprised thousands at the annual Tower Lighting celebration on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

The actors have been filming the film, directed by Cameron Crowe, in the  state and made the trip over to the base for the annual holiday tower–lighting ceremony.

Murray instructed everyone to leave their shoes outside so that St. Nick could bring them candy.

Well done….and Mele Kalikimaka!
