And it’s not even close.

According to Wikipediaflopping is an intentional fall by a player after little or no physical contact by an opposing player in order to draw a foul by an official against the opponent.  The move is sometimes called acting, as in “acting as if he was fouled”.

“Because it is inherently designed to deceive the official, flopping is generally considered to be unsportsmanlike. Nonetheless, it is widely practiced and even perfected by many professional players.”

It’s now so common in basketball that players are routinely fined big bucks for doing it.

Another term some use is diving.

Whatever you want to call it, this might be the greatest one in sports history.

All you need to know is that it’s an amateur soccer match somewhere on the planet earth.

Based on this article, I’m still not exactly sure where it happened but really, the who and where are beside the point.

Just enjoy one of the greatest performances since Daniel Day-Lewis brought Abraham Lincoln to life.

And from one of the coaches at that!

Well, maybe not that great. The reaction of the players are the opposing team (at :13) tell a different story.
