Michael Jackson’s Legacy Carries On After Singers Death

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the King of Pop’s death, and yet, he’s more alive than ever in the hearts of his fans. Since the release of his 2013 album, Xscape, Jackson has sold 309,000 copies, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard album chart and has spent 6 weeks on the chart, currently sitting at the cushy No. 9 spot.

And let’s not forget the performance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, that has struck some people as either remarkable, or down right controversial.

Regardless of your preference for Jackson’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards, he still remains the King of Pop with still selling albums and influencing music game changers like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars & even Daft Punk.

On the King of Pop’s 5th year anniversary of him passing, how are you remembering him? Is it busting out your Michael Jackson’s vinyls and letting them play on repeat? Or is it watching endless YouTube videos of the singer & songwriter’s dance moves?
