Paramore want to get intimate with their fans… on their upcoming tour that is.
The band announced last night (Jan. 22) that they’re hitting the road behind their 2013 self-titled album this spring on the “Writing the Future” tour that will have them playing smaller theaters instead of stadiums.
In fact, frontwoman Hayley Williams doesn’t even want to call this time on the road a tour, but instead a “little event” or a “celebration” that has them getting closer to those fans who have supported them all along.
The 17-date trek kicks off on April 27 in Augusta, GA, making stops along the way in Boston, New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles and Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
“It feels right to bring the Self-Titled era to a close,” Williams said in a statement. “We’ve had a very personal and hugely triumphant journey with this one.”
Adding, “As we acknowledge the past few years (and more) of everything we’ve been through together, we’re also looking forward together at all there is to come.”
