Ouch! The Edge fell off the stage during the opening night of U2’s world tour in Vancouver yesterday; a fan-shot video shows him appearing to not notice that he was strolling too close to the lip of the catwalk, causing him to plummet a few feet while Bono, who was singing at the head of the catwalk, didn’t notice at all. The band later posted a pic of The Edge’s arm on Instagram…see below….
Letterman’s last guest isn’t Leno! David Letterman will end his run as host of The Late Show next week. On Monday, Tom Hanks and Eddie Vedder will stop by the show; then on Tuesday, Bill Murray will be the Late Show’s lone guest of the night and the very last guest to sit in the chair. Murray was also Letterman’s first-ever guest when he launched Late Show on CBS on August 30, 1993. Next week’s appearances will mark Murray’s 44th time on the program and Hanks’ 60th sit-down with Letterman since 1984. The Late Show finale is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, but there won’t be any guests on that episode.
UPDATE-JUST IN: Bob Dylan will perform on Tuesday. This will be Dylan’s first performance on the Late Show in nearly 22 years.
