Taylor Swift’s show at the Staples Center in L.A. last night is going to be hard to top. SPIN reports that Swift’s surprise guest at her Tuesday-night gig was none other than Alanis Morissette, who came onstage to perform her smash ’90s hit “You Oughta Know” alongside Swift. “She inspired a generation of confessional singer-songwriters, who all of a sudden felt like you could actually say these raw feelings that you actually had,” Swift said while introducing Morissette. “You could get really, really mad if you wanted to.” Swift also called “You Oughta Know” “the greatest breakup song of all time.” She also performed the Dixie Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl” alongside frontwoman Natalie Maines.

And even an extra special guest Ellen DeGeneres! Press play to watch them both strut their stuff!
