If you haven’t been to a concert lately, you’ll be shocked at how many people are watching the show exclusively through the lens of their cell phone camera.
Don Henley has had enough.
He tells Charlie Rose that he’d like his fans to stop texting and filming with their phones and explains why artists — and increasingly, other fans — don’t like it.
I’m one of them.
Look, if you want to take a quick picture or video, fine–quick being the operative word.
But his request for his fans to watch his performances “in the moment” makes perfect sense to me.
What do you think, does he have a valid point or is he just swimming against the tide here?
