Foo Fighters pulled one over on fans last night by recruiting Nick Lachey to appear in a fake breakup video. Released last night, the seven-minute clip opens with frontman Dave Grohl speaking to producer Butch Vig about launching a solo career. Meanwhile, his Foo Fighters bandmates discuss how he’s “gone Hollywood” and suggest replacing him. After considering vocalists such as Justin Bieber, Diplo and Prince, the fellas invite Lachey into the studio to rehearse a dramatic version of “Everlong.” The clip ends with the message, “For the millionth time, we aren’t breaking up. And nobody’s going solo!”
