Lets be honest, do you every read a status on Facebook that’s not a five-paragraph essay anymore? Or pay attention to words at all, if there isn’t followed by a video?
Maybe that’s an over exaggeration, but really, no one was noticing the short statuses, until Facebook made a HUGE change.
Now you might regularly see a status with gigantic font, like this:

The big font happens when you post a status of 35 characters or less, and do no include any type of media (photos, videos, links, ect…).
