Random Acts of Kindness: Giving Thanks to the St. Louis Fire Department

For this Random Act we decided to feed a firehouse. These are the people working holiday’s to serve, protect and literally save us. We wanted to give them a pre-Thanksgiving meal. This is the firehouse that serves the city, Engine House 2 of the St. Louis Fire Department, one of the busiest houses in the city. They couldn’t have been nicer or more generous with their time. And as you’ll see they sat down for their meal and had to get up because of a call. This is how they will spend their Thanksgiving. Thank you to Captain Wayne Johnson and Captain Garon Mosby for helping me set it up. I wish this video could be an hour. Thank you to all first responders!!!!!

And I can’t thank Sugarfire Smokehouse enough!!!! What a great company to work with. When we called to ask if they would like to be a part of it, they said YES before we even finished the question. THANK YOU SUGARFIRE!! Think of them when you cater your holiday party or gathering. Seriously we are lucky to have local business owners that give back to our community!!! And oh by the way the food is awesome!! Check them out here.

And a HUGE thanks to GCS Credit Union for letting us do this Random Acts of Kindness campaign!! It was their idea and their money. You guys rock! And Jamie Springer in our web department is a superstar!!!
