New Trend: Ditching Toilet Paper for a "Family Cloth"????

Noooooo! Not a good trend

March 13, 2018

I am not on board with this trend!!! I just want you to know right off the bat. Some people are making the decision to ditch the toilet paper in favor of something new - a family cloth.

Users claim they are a cheaper and more eco-friendly alternative and apparently we should all be using them, but they're probably not for everyone.

They are small squares of cloth which are used in exactly the same way as toilet paper, except when you're done they go in a basket in the bathroom rather than down the toilet.

They're then washed and used over and over again.

Some people will only use the cloths when they're going  #1, for lack of a better term, and will still use toilet roll when it comes to number twos, but others use them for everything.

You can make the cloths yourself using old clothing or they are available to buy and there are a surprisingly large variety of patterns and designs on the market.

You can read about one mom's experience after buying these for the family here.     No, no, no, no, just no. Not gonna happen.

Here's what they look like:
